Week at a Glance!

Dear Families,
We're excited to share that our school is partnering with Books Are Fun and the Book Blast program to help put brand-new, age-appropriate books into the hands of every one of our students!
Here's why we love Book Blast:
Every student receives books they'll love and want to read
100% of all contributions go directly to books and classroom needs
The book list is thoughtfully curated and truly engaging
Keep an eye out for a message from me with more details soon.
Your student will also be bringing home a printed Treasure Map—this is their ticket to joining the fun, earning books, and unlocking some great prizes. It's simple, exciting, and encourages reading at home.
In the meantime, you can learn more about Books Are Fun and the Book Blast program: https://www.bb.booksarefun.com/testimonials.
We're looking forward to a great kickoff!
Congratulations to our August students of the month! They had lunch at Crainco with Mrs. Bates today. Thank you to Bates Farms for donating!

No school on August 29 or September 1.

This is just a reminder for the 4-Hers that sent entries to the Hinton fair. Mrs. Gossen and Mrs. McLoud will be picking up everyone's fair entries. We will then enter them on Monday at the county fair. If you have baked items or garden items for the county fair, please bring them Monday morning. Thanks!
Tomorrow is hat day at the elementary!! Bring a dollar to wear your hat!
Dumpsters located in elementary school parking lot are for elementary use only. Please do not dump any trash at the elementary during the school year. Thank you!
